Pernera Beach Hotel

Have just returned on Friday 11/7 having had a wonderful 2 weeks there . The food was amazing with a fantastic variety . The reception staff, waiting staff, bar staff, cleaning staff , in fact all the staff were incredible . Polite , incredibly helpful and courteous. The grounds of hotel are amazing , spotlessly clean, always someone tidying up , cleaning etc. The entertainment was really good , but hats off to Andrei and Vlad they were absolutely awesome !!! Activities during the day for everyone to participate , and the evenings as well . Saw several weddings which were amazing . The sunbed routine is brilliant , best set up I’ve seen . There are more than enough sun beds for everyone , but most people want them by the pool, which is absolutely fine, Beat queuing system ever and the life guard was amazing, if he saw someone trying to sneak there towels on before he had given the go ahead he would tell the or just remove the towels . Awesome !! Booking for next year and taking the rest of the family !!! I can’t bloody wait !!! Overall 10/10

Absolutely fabulous hotel and fantastic staff. Used the Spa twice and Cherry undoubtedly gave the best massage I have ever had. Definitely coming back

Visited to celebrate our wedding anniversary in June 2025. Gorgeous hotel with friendly efficient staff. The food was excellent and a great variety of drinks. Already booked again! Checking in - we arrived early hours of the morning, around 2am, and the gent on reception was very welcoming and bubbly. He gathered us all around the desk and sorted everyone at once so there was no waiting in a big queue to check in. Gave us everything we need along with information. We spoke to him again a couple of times throughout the holiday, conversation came easily, you can ask him anything and have a giggle with him too. General - you are given a QR code to scan to access an app along with a personal password. This allows you to book the a la Cartes / view entertainment / request room service etc. WiFi free, you are given instructuons for this too. Food - Great selection of food at the buffet. There was a different theme each evening. I can be quite a fussy eater, but I still ended up spoilt for choice. Everything is cooked very well. There are 2 A La Carte restaurants, you can visit them both once during your stay and the food is delicious! The snack bar is also located near the bar (pool area) and serves chips/ burgers/nuggets/salad/fruit cups. Drinks - wide variety to choose from, including cocktails, so you'll always find something to drink. You get a bottle of water in the fridge upon arrival, and there is an area to refill the bottle next to the bar (located near the pool). Service / Staff - Plenty of staff around who will take your empty glass as soon as you finish the drink. When the bar is a bit quieter, they'll also offer you another and bring it over to the table. In addition to this, whenever you finish a meal, there is always someone on hand to take your plate away promptly. All staff are pleasant, alert, and work together perfectly. Sun beds - There are plenty of beds available. Pool / bed area opens at 8am and you do get some people running to grab the front row. We were never in the 8am queue but still managed to get sun beds together on the second row back. Plenty of space for everyone. Pools - The main pool is the warmest, but also the deepest so really nice for a swim. There is also an adults only pool which is very relaxing with areas to sit down. We visited in June and could just walk into either pool as they were the perfect temperature. A shallow child's pool is also provided along with an indoor pool in the spa area (for spa use only during summer months) Entertainment - Different things on each evening, starts with a kids disco from 8.30-9, then adult entertainment, which includes singers / quiz / bingo. Different activities are on throughout the day, the animation team bring alot of energy. Location - right on the beachfront, you can walk left or right and end up on a beach in a cove area within 1-2 minutes. Directly in front of the hotel is a rocky pathway down to the sea, so you can also get in there for a swim with the fish. In the local area, there's not a huge amount but you can take lovely walks along the beachfront or more inland where you'll find shops and restaurants. There is a supermarket right by the hotel and a mini Market inside the hotel. Plenty of cats in the area, a couple like to come into the restaurant seating area to chance being given some food but they'll never bother you or go into the buffet area. Cats are all so friendly and enjoy a stroke. Watersports very close to hotel where you can parasail, hire jet ski, UFO experience plus more. A diving school is also close by if you fancy doing that. We took a taxi into Protaras costing around 15 euros each way to watch the dancing waters show and spent some time in the area- tons of shops, bars and restaurants around there. Check out - Is at 12pm unless you purchase a late check out. There is a shower room you can book a timeslot for and fresh towels are provided in there (only downpoint is no hairdryer in there). We kept hold of the hotel towels and returned them to the spa when we were done.
