Pestana Alvor Praia Beach & Golf Hotel

The hotel is immaculately clean. The staff are friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast and dinner buffets are kept fresh and well stocked with good quality food. The restaurant staff work tirelessly and in good order. Everyone was polite and friendly. drinks are reasonably priced but pay as you go because on two occasions there was confusion about what was on our room bill. Once in our favour , once not! Thank you for a lovely week. There is a calm and relaxed atmosphere at all times.

Absolutely incredible stay (2 adults + 1 child under 2 years). The whole staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Particularly Pedro who was working at the reception on our last day. Best value for money with access to the beach and amenities. Mattress and cushions could do with a slight upgrade but that’s really only if I look hard for something “not perfect” to say.

This is honestly the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The service is exceptional, the staff are so wonderful and willing to help. The rooms are beautiful and spotless. The breakfast is outstanding quality - they are continually refreshing the food - there’s even a dedicated waffle/ pancake maker and a pianist! The hotel is very clean and throughout and decorated beautifully. The pool is enormous and again, always clean. You can access the beach via the lift and there’s a couple restaurants down there also - although I’d only recommend the one closest to the hotel. The ones further down aren’t the best. But there’s plenty of delicious restaurants in the town centre of Alvor - it’s €5 in an Uber and a 5-7min drive. I cannot fault this place at all - we will definitely be returning!
