Pestana Alvor Praia Beach & Golf Hotel

We stayed at the hotel in Alvor for two nights (three days) and had an amazing time. The hotel is beautiful, with a huge pool, great food, and a fantastic location. It’s peaceful, super clean, and we truly enjoyed every moment of our stay. A big thank you to the staff, who were incredibly kind, thoughtful, and attentive, every detail was just right. One of the highlights was spending the day in a private gazebo facing the ocean. It was a perfect experience: morning snacks, a bottle of champagne, a delicious lunch with dessert, and top-notch service throughout. They even extended our checkout so we could shower before the drive home, we checked out at 17:00! That was superb. Highly, highly recommended. We’d love to come back!

I rarely leave reviews, but our recent stay at Pestana Alvor Praia was exceptional in every way and truly deserves recognition. I came for an impromptu getaway with my Mum and Grandmother, and from the moment we arrived, the experience was flawless. The staff were outstanding – genuinely warm, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. Their service made us feel completely cared for and welcome throughout our stay. The food was another highlight. Whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the variety and quality were consistently excellent. Every meal felt like a treat, with something delicious for everyone – I honestly couldn't fault a single thing. Breakfast has even been accompanied by a pianist! The hotel itself is beautifully maintained, with access to a serene pool, a lovely spa, and a stunning beach just steps away. The atmosphere was peaceful – possibly due to the time of year – but it made for a wonderfully relaxing escape. If you're looking for a quiet, luxurious, and genuinely hospitable place to unwind, I can't recommend Pestana Alvor Praia highly enough. We left feeling refreshed, cared for, and already planning our return.

The room was great and spacious with a nice pool and gorgeous view. However, our room did not get cleaned for 2 days and the staff wasn’t able to assist us with finding diapers for our son. The beach surrounding the property was breathtaking and the breakfast was excellent.
