Pestana CR7 Funchal

After our stay in Lisbon, we visited the Pestana CR7 Hotel in Funchal (Madeira) – and it was absolutely worth it! 🇵🇹 The hotel is much more affordable: we paid €293 for one night (family of four). As a special surprise, we received free tickets to the CR7 Museum, along with a handwritten welcome note in our room – such a personal and thoughtful touch! 💌 This place is a true themed hotel: The room and hotel are full of clever CR7 design elements and details. The pool – amazing! 💦 The gym/fitness area – also fantastic and well-equipped! 🏋️‍♂️ In the evening, we watched the Nations League Final, and Portugal won – the atmosphere was incredible! 🇵🇹🎉 The food was top-notch, and the location right at the harbor is just beautiful. We would definitely love to come back – highly recommended for CR7 fans and anyone visiting Madeira!

Very good hotel. Excellent breakfast and they serve good food. Staff is very kind and open to help. Pool is not that big but it’s worth to try it. It’s about 10-15 min walk to city centre

Small almost boutique hotel in Funchal marina. Very good breakfast, excellent staff willing to help in case of any issues. They help me with rescheduling the flight and let us stay in the hotel until midnight to wait for Uber. There is small pool on the roof so do not expect really to swim. There is also a jacuzzi and sauna on request. Hotel is offering a parking in garage downstairs for 15€/day which is cheaper than garage price list. Hotel restaurant will provide you with good menu for a fair price. Expect to walk cca. 15 minutes to city center. About the rooms: do not expect and luxury or big size space. Interesting is that hotel has no connection with the CR7 museum next door. What is missing to the hotel is more personal CR7 touch. Except some CR7 jerseys and drawings in rooms you could not tell it is CR7 hotel. Should be more football oriented to show off why has CR7 in its name.
