The hotel offers excellent meals, especially the dinner service – the dishes are made from high-quality ingredients and always taste fresh. Tables are prepared extremely quickly, and the waiters work at an impressive pace, always attentive and professional. The staff overall is very friendly and helpful, making the stay feel welcoming. The rooms are rather small but have a beautiful view, and the bathrooms are spacious and nicely designed. One downside is the lack of an iron in the rooms and no shelves in the wardrobes – there are only a few hangers, which makes storing clothes a bit inconvenient. A huge advantage of the hotel is its location, and overall we have very fond memories of our stay at Pestana Viking Hotel.

I visited this restaurant over two days, and both experiences were exceptional. The food was absolutely delicious — fresh ingredients, perfectly cooked dishes, and beautiful presentation. I tried different items on both visits, and everything was consistently top-notch. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do. The ambiance was cozy yet stylish, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy a meal. It’s rare to find a place that gets it all right — flavor, service, and atmosphere — but this restaurant truly delivered. Highly recommend it to anyone in the area! About this restaurant i could only say a single word that describes it as whole was It was “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious”

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Pestana Viking, and I must say the location is truly outstanding. The hotel is situated right beside the beach, and the scenery is absolutely breathtaking. . However, during my stay, I came across something that deeply concerned me. As an Asian guest myself, I had conversations with some of the Asian waiters (particularly from India and Pakistan) working in the hotel. They shared with me that their work shifts often start as early as 8:00 AM and continue until 2:00 AM the following day, with almost no proper break to rest or have a meal during this extremely long shift. This situation feels very unfair and inhumane. These staff members are hardworking individuals who play a huge role in creating the wonderful guest experience at your hotel, yet it seems they are not being treated with the dignity and rights they deserve. I strongly urge the Hotel Director and the Supervisors of the restaurant/wait staff to take serious notice of this issue and ensure fair treatment, reasonable working hours, and proper breaks for these employees. Every worker deserves to be treated with respect and humanity. The beauty of a hotel is not only in its location and views, but also in how it treats its people. I hope Pestana Viking will take this matter seriously and uphold the values of fairness and human dignity.
