Petaling Jaya Marriott Hotel

I recently attended a symposium at this hotel and was genuinely impressed. The food was delicious, but what stood out even more was the incredible staff , they are friendly, helpful, and truly top-notch. This place is perfect for hosting events like talks and formal gatherings. The team handled everything smoothly and professionally. I also had a personal experience that truly showed the character of the people here. I accidentally left behind something valuable, and not only did the team help me trace it back, but they also returned it to me with such honesty and kindness. You don’t get that everywhere. Truly quality people. Highly recommend

I had a wonderful stay! The hotel was clean and comfortable, and the room was spacious and cozy. The staff were friendly and helpful, making check-in and check-out smooth. The location was excellent — close to restaurants, shops, and public transport. Great value for money. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

Wouldn’t recommend this hotel at all. The hotel is currently undergoing renovation, and it’s extremely disruptive. Drilling and hammering start early in the morning and continue non-stop until evening. I wasn’t informed about this beforehand. When I called the front desk to ask if they could pause the noise for a while as I was in a meeting, the staff member raised his voice at me. He insisted they had notified all guests via signs in the lift and during check-in, which I’m sure they didn’t, as I never saw any notice or was told anything. Had I known, I would have cancelled the booking immediately. To make things worse, the hotel charges for everything, even for car parking and disposable cutlery. I had ordered food through Grab, but they refused to let the delivery rider come up to my room. I politely asked if they could help send it up as I was in the middle of a meeting, but they declined. They also refused to lend me cutlery because the food was from an external vendor, and insisted I pay for disposable ones instead. It’s absolutely unreasonable to pay so much for a noisy stay, unhelpful staff, paid parking, and poor service. Throughout the stay, I kept asking if anything could be done about the noise so I could carry on with my meetings, but the staff just brushed me off with vague responses like, “We’ll see what we can do.” No action was taken, and no one got back to me. The drilling continued from morning till night every single day. If you’re looking for a pleasant and peaceful stay with supportive service, I strongly advise against choosing this hotel. It was truly an unforgettable and awful experience.
