I had the best stay at Petek Pansiyon. It is a beautiful, historic building with a lot of original furniture and art pieces from the 1960s. A very unique stay with bright rooms, comfortable beds and spacious bathrooms. The area is wonderful and not very touristy. It is very close to the water and there are many great cafés and restaurants in walking distance. I 100% would recommend staying here.
Amazing hidden gem. Every single corner of the building is covered with original paintings, art pieces, vintage furniture. All from the family's collections. And..last but not least, the quietest spot i ever slept in in istanbul
Once we got here we wondered why we had booked to stay here in this area in a Budget room £75 a night. Has mosquito net but looking closely there are holes in them and kept getting buzzed all night which was annoying. Its a old hotel from 60s quite interesting. We slept well. There were no cupboards in our room. Well connected by busses. Should have done our research more.
