Petit Lafitte Hotel

We loved our stay! The food was delicious and service was outstanding. We really enjoyed being in our own little bungalow and having the front porch and hammock right outside directly in the sand. It was fun to see some Coati animals running around here and there. Yoga is included every morning if you choose and the instructor was very good. Class was challenging but you could alter poses to work for beginners. I recommend bringing your water and towel since the environment is naturally hot. Kids loved the pool and the food! All of the people who work here are extremely welcoming and kind.

I don’t even know where to begin. This place is so special and anyone who goes will always want to come back. I had my wedding here march 22 with 65 of our friends and family and it was the best decision we have ever made! Our wedding could not have gone more perfect all our friends and family had the best time most of them even asking if they could join us every year and come back on our anniversary lol! They take such good care of their property the jungle/ garden area is beautiful and the beach was always clean and the perfect place to relax. Staff members are absolutely amazing everybody so kind and personable. We went to a different resort for our honeymoon and it was beautiful and staff was nice but we were just so spoiled by Petit that it didn’t feel the same. I almost wanted to gatekeep this place because i love it so much but everybody deserves to experience a place so special 🤍

First off, I am not one to write reviews often, but this place is incredible! We came to Petit Lafitte for a site visit because we booked our wedding here next year. Let me just say- everything was above and beyond what we excepted. The hotel itself is absolutely gorgeous. The restaurant is beautiful, the pool is clean, and the lunch deck is stunning with the most gorgeous views! The beach, even in sargassum season, is relaxing and the sand it’s beautiful. The rooms and bungalows are clean, well-decorated, and comfortable. The food is incredible! Breakfast and dinner (which are both included) are absolutely delicious and the wonderful staff will accommodate exactly what you want. The chef is amazing and works so hard to ensure everyone is well-fed and happy. We did a menu tasting for our wedding, which means he spent hours cooking each dish that we chose for us to try, and the presentation was absolutely stunning. Each dish was more delicious than the last! The lunch, although not included, is also amazing. (The ceviche and nachos were incredible!) The drinks are sooo good, and strong! The best thing about this hotel overall is the staff. Every single person we came in contact with was incredibly kind and helpful. From the poolside drink service to the bartenders to the servers and the chef & kitchen staff, housekeepers, and our incredible wedding coordinator, Andrea, every single person takes so much pride in this hotel and their service. After visiting, we could not be any more excited to bring our closest family and friends here for our wedding.
