Lovely family hotel with great people who work here including receptionist, cleaning lady and cook. All were very kind and made us feel good. Rooms are clean, with fresh towels everyday. In the lounge there is free water and coffee machine. Metro station is couple of minutes away and the hotel is 20 min by metro from city Centre. Breakfast is really good with plenty of choice. I would choose it again!
Nice hotel in a great location. Away from the busy city centre and it's really easy to get everywhere using metro service (~15 min to city center, ~25 min to airport, ~30min to Bernabeu). Metro station is basically almost next to the hotel. Room is spacious, has everything you need. TV has wide selection of local channels + radio channels and also option to mirror your own device screen. Breakfast was delicious and we were pleasantly surprised how wide the selection was. Didn't expect a rather smaller hotel like this to have such a good selection. Also the reception staff was really friendly and spoke English fluently, which we found out during our stay is not so common everywhere in Madrid. Even the hotel's General Manager spoke to us during the breakfast and was interesed in how are we enjoing our stay and breakfast selection. Only downside was that the room and the floors were a bit cold and when we wanted to heat up the room the AC was really noisy and the room got hot really quickly so we needed to then again turn it off and could use it only periodically in shorts stints. But since seems like Madrid is going through a unusual and heavy rain season right now in March (it was raining heavily all the time, every day during our stay), we as people from Northern Europe kind of expect and hope that this is just something that hotels in warm climate countries like Spain are not really used to and built for.
No air conditioning. They let me know of the air conditioner not working after payment. There is a coach where you can barely sit without sinking. The bed is average and I still cannot talk about breakfast. Tomorrow will be another day. Metro station is right at the corner.
