Service was impressive, with friendly, professional waiters, receptionists, plus other staff. Angelina at the restaurant truly stood out for her exceptional kindness and professionalism. Food was delicious; rooms were beautiful, as was the pool. The calm, convenient location sealed the deal. Highly recommend this place; I’d definitely return.

Hotel Petram is the perfect choice for anyone looking for luxury, comfort and top quality. The hotel's rooftop restaurant offers an incredible gastronomic experience with a spectacular view. Rooftop pool is the right place to relax and enjoy - refreshing swimming under the open sky with a beautiful view of the cities of Slovenia, Italy and the mountains, provides a feeling of exclusivity and peace. The hotel staff is extremely friendly and professional. The spa & wellness center offers a perfect haven for relaxation. Various massages, saunas and wellness treatments enable complete regeneration of body and mind. I recommend it to anyone who wants an unforgettable experience!

1. The first thing that stands out is that a hotel aiming for five stars (actually 4) is managed like a three-star property. My son woke up five times during the night because it was stuffy and the air conditioning wasn’t working properly. It’s clear the owners invested a lot into making the hotel look stylish — the rooms are genuinely nice, and during the day the AC works fine. But at night, it’s a different story — it simply doesn’t have enough power. 2. The food was a big disappointment. Very limited selection, nothing tasted good, and there weren’t even heated trays — we were eating cold breakfasts that we didn’t want to go to. No labels on the food, no idea what anything was made of. It feels like the hotel doesn’t take food seriously. If you eat healthy, like I do, there’s absolutely nothing to choose from. The restaurants mostly offer fast food. The rooftop pool is a great place to hang out, but if you want someone to offer you a drink, you’ll be waiting forever. Why it’s so hard to hire a bartender remains a mystery. 3. The kids’ room is only open for two hours at a time. The entertainers are great and the kids had fun, but the playroom could easily be twice the size and open all day. I’m not a hotel manager, but I’d be curious to know why they chose to cut corners on children’s activities. The more occupied the kids are, the more parents spend. The room didn’t even have basic things like step stools for kids — I guess that would destroy the margins too. 4. The children’s pool is poorly designed. It’s full of steps you can easily bump into if you don’t see them in time. You can’t swim across the pool — not kids, not adults — because the steps are right in the middle. Also, to get a towel you have to go through this weird check-in process. On the rooftop, you have to walk an absurd distance just to get one. None of this is convenient. It feels like the hotel expects people to come no matter what. 5. When we arrived, we wanted to add dinner to our breakfast plan, but apparently that’s not allowed. 6. On the positive side, the hotel is spacious, modern, and you can tell they invested in architecture. Parking is well organized. But in the room, for example, there was no spatula for the frying pan. I also couldn’t connect my phone to the TV to watch movies more comfortably.
