Petros Hotel

We stayed for a week in May and had a very good stay here. The staff were friendly and keen to make sure we had a good stay. Our room was on the top floor with good sound insulation. We could hear some noise from the streets and the clubs at night but, with the windows closed, the noise wasn't enough to disturb our sleep. We couldn't get the Aircon/fan to work, however, so it did get quite warm in the room as the weather warmed up during our stay thus we had to keep the windows open. The free breakfast was a great addition - coffee, tea, cereals & oats, biscuits, cake and simit. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean with only minor cosmetic faults. The hotel itself was also clean and quiet, and has very pretty architecture. The bathroom was clean and worked well, just could do with better ventilation. We felt safe and comfortable for our stay and it was great value, we would recommend Petros Hotel.

My husband I stayed here in the second week of July and What can I even say, this place isn’t just a hotel, it feels like part of Istanbul’s history. It’s been around for centuries and still gives off such a modern, boutique vibe. Everything about it just feels right, it gives you that luxury experience without being over the top. The location? Honestly unbeatable. Right near Istiklal Street, with Galata Tower, Taksim Square, the tram, bus, and metro stations all within walking distance. Super convenient and central. The rooms were spotless, super comfy, and smelled so good. Like, I didn’t even want to unpack my luggage and mess it up. If I had to describe it in one phrase: clean luxury. That’s exactly how it felt. The reception staff were lovely and helpful. And even though breakfast wasn’t technically included, they still served a complimentary spread every morning variety of cereal, biscuits, tea, coffee — such a thoughtful touch. This place was the perfect way to end our vacation. Would absolutely stay here again.

This hotel is fantastic! The staff are incredibly friendly, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. However, this is Istanbul—you'll need earplugs because the city never sleeps! They offer complimentary tea and cakes, which is a lovely touch. The only downside is the location; while it's on the better side of Tarlabaşı Boulevard, the area itself might not be ideal for everyone. Despite that, I had an amazing stay.
