Peñiscola Plaza Suites

We've just arrived home from staying here. We stayed in a 2 bed apartment which had little pools in the middle of them which was great because the main pool was closed when we stayed - but our kids and us were not fussed as we made the most of the beach! Apartment and hotel areas were well maintained and clean. We were full board, so we had all the meals included. We made the most of the picnic service for when we were out exploring in the day and for our journey home. Eating times were perfect for us Breakfast at 8, lunch at 13.30 and dinner at 8.15. The food was tasty and fresh and plenty of food to go around. The bars within the hotel were great! Reasonably priced and our children enjoyed the chocolate milkshakes! It's an 1hr walk into the town or can get a bus for €1.40 each. We walked into the town and then caught the bus back. There is a Spar supermarket a 15 minute walk away which had everything we needed. There's also a shop on site 😊.

Not recomented for young people who looking for diversity and have fun. Too quiet place with almost no activities.

Pool was closed for the season, and learned only after arrival. Rooms are okay, but the size of the hotel makes walking around convoluted, such as the parking garage to the lifts. Hours of service were unclear, and it appears some onsite restaurants aren't open. Limited options for dining near the hotel. The air conditioning did not work because "it was turned off for the season". No options were offered, such as a fan for the room. We had to keep the windows open all night. The breakfast buffet was good. I will not return.
