Amazing friendly lodging up in the woods. The cabins are large with a living room and a large bathroom. It was cold when we were there but they had heated beds and heated floors. There are monkeys there. The restaurant served the best meal we had in South Africa. The chef is truly amazing. The staff were incredibly friendly. I highly recommend staying two nights go take advantage of the pool with amazing views and the nature trails.
We went to the restaurant and this was a full on experience that you have to try when you come to Knysna. You park at the main gate and then a driver comes around to take you up to the treetops for an amazing view. Drinks at the bar with appetizers, then a walk to the restaurant for great food, wine and service. The waiter will then walk you back through the forest to your waiting driver. So very cool.
Spent one night here but it was not long enough as it was so amazingly serene and beautiful. High up in the treetops above Knysna with incredible tree houses for accommodation. Beautiful views, wonderful staff and fantastic food - 6 course dinner. Breakfast was great as we watched 2 shy Knysna Loeries on the railing next to us. This is also one of the top eco reserves.
