PHI Hotel Astoria

We only stayed one night as we were just passing through, after a long journey of over 4,000 km with two small children. Upon arrival, we had a minor issue with the air conditioning, but the lady at the reception was extremely helpful and resolved it quickly. I would especially like to highlight Antónia’s work at breakfast – her kindness and attentiveness meant a lot to us in our tired state. Thanks to her, everything went smoothly and our morning got off to a pleasant start. Thank you! —- Unfortunately, the restaurant next to the hotel did not meet our expectations – neither the service nor the taste of the food was satisfactory.

Our stay was wonderful! The location was perfect, set in a beautiful and quiet area surrounded by vineyards. We loved the peaceful atmosphere with very few guests around. The hotel offers a gym, and relaxing indoor spaces. The staff were incredibly kind from the moment we arrived, always helpful with any questions. Plus, we had an amazing sleep and breakfast each day we stayed. Highly recommend staying here—we’ll definitely be back. Thank you 🤩

This hotel is a hidden gem! The location is absolutely amazing — surrounded by farms, nature, and beautiful mountains. It feels like a place with real history and soul. I don’t know the full story behind the hotel, but you can feel it’s something authentic and meaningful. It almost feels like a family-run place, full of charm. The atmosphere is so calm and peaceful. It’s perfect if you want to disconnect from the world and reconnect with yourself. My kids just sat outside enjoying the view — staring at the sky and the sun, completely relaxed. It’s quiet, not crowded at all, and the weather was lovely. Walking around the farmland and nearby paths was one of our favorite parts. The nights were magical — it really felt like we were in another world, far away from everything. The hotel rooms are warm and cozy, like a treehouse mixed with a countryside home. Very comfortable and simple, but full of character. The only downside was the mosquitoes, so bring repellent! Food and drink options inside the hotel are limited to the breakfast buffet,but you can always go out and explore nearby places to eat.Still, the whole experience — the quiet, the nature, the feeling of peace — truly touched my heart. I would definitely come back. Highly recommend it if you’re looking for something natural, quiet, and full of soul.
