Phi Hotel Bologna Apartments

The beds are comfortable, the water is hot and the bathrooms are well-appointed. The location is perfectly convenient for everything in old town Bologna. The included breakfast is excellent. Hotel service is excellent. Easily one of the finest hotels I've stayed in.

Great little gem in the middle of Bologna city centre. We stayed at the apartment called la torre. Family of four with two teenagers. Plenty of space lots of amenities such wifi, toiletries , kitchen 2 bathrooms etc.. Very quiet at night and aircon made the place very comfortable as hot evenings. Breakfast great with gluten free options. Only downside is driving with the car due to narrow streets and some area have cctv and only taxi and buses can go. We believe we might get a fine due to getting lost on the way out!! Rather then that everything else was great

Great location. Breakfast was very good. Room was very spacious. Power went out 1 time so had to get ready to go next door for them to flip the switch. Also internet went out at 1 point for almost 1 hour. The apartment was a super cool room with a great kitchen, but it needs an update. Typical of hotel rooms in Italy the furnishings are super, super old and a mix of things that need updating and to be more practical. For example there was a desk, but no charge to sit at the desk by the bed. The bathroom was outdated with a very small shower while the bathroom was huge. These types of renovations can be done cheaply and quickly and would take the spacious apartment from 3 stars to 5 stars. The hotel team working there were all super nice and accomodating. Just wish they would update the room some to make it more functional and a little more modern in furnishings.
