Wonderful stay! The hotel is (or looks, I don't know when it was actually built) new / recently renovated. The room and bathroom were clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable. Small details which make the difference...like a welcome chocolate. The breakfast was delicious and with lots of options (the bacon was particularly tasty and delightfully crisp!). The garage with direct access to the elevator was very comfortable. The hotel staff was very professional and friendly, from the reception to the room service. Although there is no gym, they have a very good deal with the Virgin Active close by. Sara from the reception was particularly helpful to set it up, and navigate the different opening and closing times between week and weekend. Location is what it is. If you have a car, and wish to stay in that specific part of the city (or plan on using the Rho Fiera Milano station to get in and out of the city), it's very conveniently located (close to the highway, close the train station). Otherwise, be advised that getting around will be quite hard (there are some public transport lines, but few and which pass seldomly and do not connect easily to the Rho Fiera Milano train station). Also, there are a few to no restaurants within walking distance... but the hotel's restaurant is delicious, so there is no need for that!
Very good hotel in terms of value for money, quiet and secluded. Ideal if you need to attend the Milan fair. I went for business, and everything was great.
Unfortunately, our experience was far below acceptable standards for the following reasons: 1. Cleanliness: The room was extremely dirty and unhygienic. We found multiple cockroaches in the room, which caused significant distress for my family. This level of cleanliness is completely unacceptable, especially for a hotel. 2. Temperature and Comfort: The room was very cold. The ventilation system only allowed heating up to 22°C, which was insufficient, especially for our small child. Our daughter had to sleep with us to stay warm during the night. 3. Customer Service: Upon our arrival, the gentleman at the reception was notably unprofessional and unfriendly. He appeared disinterested in assisting us and provided no relevant information about our stay. Additionally, he insisted on immediate payment upon check-in but failed to provide us with a receipt, which is highly irregular and concerning. Given the poor conditions of the room—being dirty, cold, and infested with insects—it is now clear why upfront payment was required. We were left with no option but to accept these substandard conditions, as we did not have the time or energy to engage in lengthy discussions after a long journey. I trust that you will take this matter seriously and address the issues promptly.
