My companion and I had a great experience at Marriott hotel. The lobby was safe, inviting , and very clean. I particularly want to shout out Rachel, a bartender. The service she provided was exquisite! She guessed my & my friend’s needs before we voiced them. Also, from the moment we alighted at the bar, the service from one of the male bartenders was quick and satisfying. I’ll happily visit in again! P.S. Seriously, shout out to Rachel

Room & Amenities The room itself was very nice, modern, clean, and updated. However, the shower felt surprisingly narrow, which detracted a bit from the comfort. The pool was available, but quite dated and uninviting. It could definitely benefit from an upgrade to match the otherwise refreshed feel of the hotel interiors. Elite Status Recognition As a Titanium Elite member, I was disappointed that I did not receive any customary perks such as a room upgrade, welcome drink, or bonus point options, something I typically expect and receive at other Marriott properties. That said, I did have access to the Executive Lounge, which was excellent. The lounge offered a very good selection of food and drinks and was a highlight of the stay. Hotel Design & Common Areas One of the more puzzling aspects of the hotel was its lack of decorative or comfort elements in public spaces. Corridors and elevator lobbies felt stark and impersonal, no artwork, no seating, no furniture, creating an oddly unfinished atmosphere. Location The hotel's location is undoubtedly one of its strongest features. It’s just a short walk to the Convention Center and many downtown attractions, making it ideal for both business and leisure travelers. Surroundings While this isn’t a fault of the hotel itself, the surrounding area had a noticeable presence of individuals dealing with homelessness and substance abuse. It made the environment feel less secure and could be concerning for some guests, especially at night.

I never write reviews, but felt inclined after my stay at this hotel. We were in town for my son running at the New Balance Nationals. We arrived at 5:30 PM. We checked in our first room that had visible stains and bodily fluids all over the bed. We went down to the front desk and they provided us with another room. The next room was a disaster. It had bugs, foot prints in the shower, and again dried up bodily fluids on the mattress and sheets and had a foul odor. We went to the front desk and were greeted by the representative that was very nice. The Manager stepped in and I asked her for something as it was now going on 9:00 PM. My son had to prepare for his race the next day. She did help a little, but nowhere near for the inconvenience we had to endure. It took over 30 minutes of going back and forth to get anywhere. I asked for two rooms as a suite wasn’t available. She said, “we are sold out, but you can book one our website.” I said, “how can you be sold out if I can book it on your site.” Didn’t understand that at all. Mind you we had to pack everything up and move our luggage ourselves from room to room. The Manager indicated that they would do a VIP clean on our next rooms. We went to dinner and came back. To our surprise I pulled back the sheets and more dried up fluids on our bed. We also had gum stuck to one of our pillows. At this point it was 11:30 PM and I asked for double sheets to just cover it up and throw the other pillow on the ground. The carpet I don’t think has been cleaned in years as it was gross and made our feet and socks black. That night I went to take a shower and it took a minimum of 5 minutes for the hot water to come out. They altered maintenance of our issue and it wasn’t fixed. Instead, we had to listen to dripping water all night as that was their “fix.” Yesterday, when we went to check out it took 45 minutes for the valet get our car and 20 minutes for an elevator. I only stay at Marriott properties and this was the first negative experience and a horrible one. This ruined our trip! They know their hotel is a mess as several people were having similar conversations with the front desk, while we were there. If you like a messy hotel room that looks like something from a crime scene and won’t enjoy your stay this is the place. Only good thing is the location. I have attached pictures. Avoid at all costs, it’s not worth the lower cost and look elsewhere.
