Hello there! Service and food was excellent, the rooms are a little worn out, quite heavy smell of old worn our furniture inside the room. The rest is great, thank you!
Very friendly staff. They respond to your email quickly and helpful. Room is clean and quiet. Same breakfast every morning but dinner is decent. Short walking distance to nearest tram station(line 1 and 9) which will take you to the cathedral in 20mins (unless on Sunday the time between each train is ridiculously long ). There are some restaurants around that area. There are also some parking lots at the hotel.
Upon arrival, I found a spot in the hotel’s external parking lot. I assumed it was the space I had reserved, as no one had informed me about parking in the garage. The next day, there were no external parking spaces available, and when I discovered that there was a garage, I was told my reservation had been canceled because I hadn’t stayed there the previous night. I then parked in front, in what appeared to be an external spot. Shortly after, my family and I went out for dinner, only to find that my car had been towed. I incurred a loss of 217 euros, and there were no signs indicating that parking was prohibited. To my surprise, I learned that the hotel itself had called the towing service. After resolving the issue, I asked the receptionist, Julia , what we could do, as there was no place to park the car. She rudely replied that it was my problem. I tried to explain that I had reserved a parking spot, but she again responded rudely, saying there was no record of it. But how could they cancel something that supposedly wasn’t even registered? This was the first time I had encountered such poor treatment at a hotel. At no point were we rude or disrespectful, so it made no sense to be treated so sarcastically and no professional by the receptionist. My experience at this hotel resulted in a loss of 217 euros and the worst service I have ever received. All of this for staying in a location far from the city center, with staff who were completely incapable of handling guest concerns.
