We have had the most amazing stay over the last week from Australia! Everyone is so lovely, the resort offers everything you need and is so clean in the perfect location across from the beach and shops. Breakfast has been so yummy too!

Firstly I want to call out and name Lulu as the most incredible service worker the resort has! She goes above and beyond to provide exceptionally high levels of serve ALWAYS with a smile! What an asset she is to this resort - I have travelled to Thailand 9 times and just think she is in the top tier of service staff. Thankfully Lulu was working at the main pool most days as the reason I provided only three stars for service was mostly for the main pool bar staff….. unfortunately two years in a row and not much changed with the older Thai man serving drinks he is honestly unaccommodating and just grumpy all the time, never smiles and day in says the resort has no bananas which is ridiculous given Phuket has millions as does the resort. I want to express my gratitude to Paul the relations manager who was available to chat and just brilliant as well - he is an asset to the resort and so friendly to all - he is a brilliant worker. The resort is in a great location and the rooms are nice and clean. Breakfast has a variety on offer the only suggestion I would make is to introduce skim milk - not only full cream. The resort overall is a great option, it is showing signs of age at the pool and the mosaic requiring attention. I would also like to say the daily activities are great, good for kids as well being able to make cup cakes and the dye. There is also great daily water aerobics which is fun and the entertainment group is great. The pool menu needs a bit more variety and has music but on very low and doesn’t provide that upbeat atmosphere but nice for relaxing. Overall a great resort for families and the cleaning staff are also wonderful! The only other negative was we were a group of 18 and requested specific rooms well in advance and were told that it was sorted - we arrived and the rooms were not in the same request but I will say thankfully it was sorted and a few people moved after two days so we could be together.

I regretted choosing this hotel the moment we checked in. We had just moved here after staying two nights at another hotel of the same star rating on Patong Beach. Both bookings were made through Agoda, and we had no issues at the previous hotel. However, at Graceland, we were told that the name on the Agoda booking was abbreviated and didn’t match the passport, so we were asked to contact Agoda to change the name—very frustrating that I have to search for helpline or Thailand contact no. on Agoda and website for one hour. Since we were a family of four (two adults and two children), we had to pay an additional THB 750 per night for our 10-year-old child. The total cost ended up being similar to the previous hotel, and honestly, we should have just stayed there. I truly regret this decision. The hotel is large but quite dated, and the facilities are very basic. I don’t understand why so many people choose it—perhaps, like me, they were misled by the high ratings. The only standout feature might be the paid bowling alley. Some areas were under renovation, and when it rained, guests had to walk through the construction zones, which was inconvenient. Breakfast was average. There are two restaurants, the Sunset Restaurant was less crowded than the main one. We stayed at Graceland for three nights. On the first night, we booked the pool access room, but were unfortunately assigned a corner unit with a wall on the right and another wall directly in front—very disappointing. The room was spacious, but the decor and furnishings were very plain, almost like a hospital room. For the second and third nights, we stayed in a deluxe room. To make things worse, on the already disappointing first night, the front desk called to inform us that they couldn’t provide a bathtub for the next two nights. We declined the offer, but it felt like rubbing salt in the wound. The hotel is located on one end of the Patong Beach, and you have to walk around a cemetery to reach the shops and Patong town center. The upside is that it’s very close to the beach, which is convenient for kids to play in the sand. The hotel also arranged staff to help direct traffic, making it easier for guests to cross the road. The kids’ club is very small, with just a few slides and not much else—nothing impressive. I would advise parents traveling with children to think carefully before booking this hotel.
