Phuket Sea Resort

This hotel is absolutely terrible. The receptionist cannot speak English she has to use an interpreter on her phone. They do not do breakfast, there is no bar. The pools are very basic. The rooms are very run down and small. The main wall/door you enter from is all glass and you have to keep the faded old crappy curtains closed for privacy. The tv is terrible service. The AC is noisy. The only good thing I can say about this place is that the toilet flushes. The shower and sink fill up they do not drain away for ages. I am so disappointed in this place that we are moving and losing the money we paid. $123 per night is so expensive for the basic room that it is. You should not be charging more than $50 per night for this accommodation

The only advantage of the hotel is the pool, it's big and very accessible. The rest, however, was disappointing. The biggest problem is the room was noisy. You can hear everything, neighbors (even if they just talk), AC unit humming, people passing by your room. There's no privacy. The wall facing outside is all glass, so you have to close curtains throuout the whole day and turn the lights on. And the curtains are the ugliest I've ever seen - reminds of the ones they hang in a butchery. Bed linens weren't changed even once for our 9 days stay. The towels weren't clean, despite being white. The room in general is very worn down. The staff is overall friendly, but once the cleaning lady just came in without knocking while I was naked. Another time, when we said we needed 30 more minutes before they come to clean the room, they said "maybe 10?". There are definitely better hotels for this price.

Bad experience overall: - Our bed was bumpy, hard and uneven. I asked them to change it because we couldn't sleep on it. They did after 3 days, and when they did, we could see that the old mattress was basically rotten. - Our room was next to some night club, so we could hear music at night. - Sometimes they wake you up with random music through a speaker at 8:00 am. - They don't change the bedsheets, just make the bed. Bedsheets have stains from who knows when. - It's hard to communicate with the reception, since they only speak Thai. Good points: - The pool is okay.
