Spectacular hospitality and the food at both restaurants was insane. Buy their olive oil and get the breakfast - you won’t regret it! The Phea feast is a must experience - it’s well worth the price! The rooms were gorgeous and we got an upgrade to the plunge pool. The masseuse at the spa made me fall asleep. Highly recommend the experience!

The beautiful photo that google pulls up with the arches and beautiful pool is no longer at this property. Phaea Blue is no longer Blue Palace but a separate property about 1/3 of the size that is located next to the future new Blue Palace. When we booked, we were expecting the beautiful property and multiple restaurants that pop up when you google Blue Palace, but it is now outdated. The service at this property is excellent but for the price, this resort was underwhelming. The beach is nice but we listened to construction of the new Blue Palace throughout our entire stay. The pool is tiny and unimpressive and we didn't even bother to use it during our stay.

Unless you want to pay to listen to jackhammers and intense construction 24/7 do not come here. This was mentioned on Previous reviews, and I mentioned it to my Travel Agent and I should have trusted my gut, Not only did they mess up my first room when I arrived at midnight… then I woke up the next morning having paid for the suite with the private heated infinity pool to obviously spend time outside, and there’s construction waking me up, construction that we were told was not going to be happening during the summer season. They need to completely shut down until they are done because there are many reviewers that have mentioned this as well. I was left with a room that I could not even go outside and relax and enjoy and so we were left scrambling trying to find any other hotel that was up to par. Good luck with that. Also, what kind of five star hotel in Greece or anywhere for that matter doesn’t have a commercial grade espresso machine On their property?! They use the Nespresso pods as if that’s warranted at this price point or as if people visiting Greece don’t want to have Greek coffee. There was no transparency on multiple issues and despite reiteration of privacy being the most important thing by my Travel Agent they placed me in a room where I would’ve been directly underneath somebody’s balcony with my pool. The last shocker was the fact that the spa is located above the completely open area. Lobby and housekeeping is rolling by their car and people are talking the entire time you’re trying to receive a treatment. Nothing about this entire hotel warrants the price, nor are they being transparent and telling people what to expect with construction ongoing still. This is unacceptable bottom line
