we stayed at this hotel> it matched all that we hoped for .food good range. situation : ideal for walks into the town - opposite way into woods and walks along the shore. hotel grounds are spacious Porec is charming resort would definitely recommend.

The hotel Pical sunny is "dated " to say the least, everything is crying out to be updated or "NUKED" and rebuild. The food is good, breakfast very good. They don't seem to understand that a cup of tea is very important to the english, coffee rules so the water urn isn't even switched on. The rooms are so old that they're almost back in fashion. All the plastic has yellowed and all the carpets are threadbare around the hotel rooms. It would be ok if it was cheap but it isn't. At dinner they turn off all the refreshment taps so you have to purchase from the bar. No water, nothing free!. They even charge to use their own beachside sunloungers(without pads btw) I would most certainly NOT return to the Valamar Pical Sunny hotel.

No airconditioing.... No Wifi......dying......No little fridge in room...... However, when i go to Zagreb i realised I left a bag in the Hotel, the staff were kind enough to take it to the bus depot and put in on bus to Zagreb. I understand now renovations are due, so perhaps i should be annoyed with the person who made the booking not the hotel. Still pricey for what you get....
