I have been on many ski trips and have to say the two things that were of 6 star quality was the food, which was a different gastronomic collection of variety and taste every evening, congratulations to the chef, and the amazing quality of service with a special thanks to Patrizia, Brenda and particularly Marina, all of whom worked tirelessly and provided a service better suited to a five star establishment. The sauna and pool were a lovely way to soothe the aching muscles, but I don't think there is a need for naked men to be wandering around in public areas. The rooms were very spacious with lovely large balconies but I personally felt let down by the fact that the curtains were not black out, so was woken up too early after a hard day's skiing. And worst of all were the super hard mattresses which just were not conducive to a good night's sleep. The shuttle service is fantastic in the morning, and luckily we hired a locker next to Ciampinoi cable car, as there was no minibus service in the evenings and i wouldn't have fancied carrying my skis back with my boots on. That said there was a free bus service back to very near the hotel. My final little suggestion would be to offer tea and very light snacks at around 5pm as we ended up having a drink in town before heading back rather than returning and spending our money at the hotel. This is something we have seen in other ski resorts. Overall experience was really good Many Thanks

Stayed at this hotel for 7 nights for our ski holiday. The missing star is for the dated room and bathroom which were not very ergonomic.. the bed one of the most uncomfortable we ever slept on; we were quite disappointed for a 4 stars hotel to have such a cheap quality bed/mattress; also no black out curtains which contributed to a bad night sleep, not what one desires after a day of skiing. On the positive side we were extremely impressed by the chef with his outstanding food in copious amounts..the waitresses; Marina (a great asset to any organisation that would be lucky to have her), Brenda and Patricia.. their customer service at breakfast and dinner was second to none, they worked really hard maintaining their cool and professionalism. Great the shuttle service provided and a special thanks to the lovely housekeeper Renata.

We stayed at this excellent hotel for our recent ski trip and it fulfilled all of our expectations. We new it was slightly out of town but the minibus service made up for that and we could actually ski down a pisted walkway to within 120 meters . Food and service was truly excellent and the team were ready to look for alternatives if you didn't want what was on the menu. Breakfast was plentiful and rooms were spacious and warm. The pool, steam room and sauna were a real treat at the end of the day on the slopes. The ski area is amazing and we had awesome snow. There was an ice hockey game on in the town one evening and the hotel gave us their complimentary tickets for the night too. The only reason this doesn't get 5 starts is because of the miserable barmaid who audibly tutted and rolled her eyes when I asked for another round of drinks and then proceeded to mumble something under her breath in Serbian. She honestly made you feel uncomfortable about asking for another drink. A shame because everything else was superb.
