Piemont Hotel Boutique

As a solo traveler in South America for the first time, Madisson Boutique Hotel Cartagena made me feel completely at home. The concierge team was outstanding—helping with everything from activities to transportation—and the room (with a lovely patio!) was so comfortable. It’s a little outside the main tourist area, but being steps from the beach was totally worth it! Highly recommend for solo travelers looking for a safe, supportive, and beautiful stay. ⭐ 5 stars

This is a very nice place to stay in Cartagena. My partner and I stayed here for 2 nights and we were quite pleased. The entre way was clean and impressive, staff was very courteous and friendly for the check in process. The room was well appointed and immaculate. Bonus, the air-conditioning was more than adequate and placed directly above the bed. The bathroom was clean and it has modern fixtures. We paid for breakfast to be included (not sure if that's automatically or not) and it was a good variety of hot and cold breakfasts items. The staff tried to make request available (within reason) for items not immediately available on the buffet. All around great experience, great location within the city, and easy access to restaurants, pharmacies, stores and stop for the Bus party that you will come to love in Cartagena.

The beds were very hard, almost as if I was sleeping on a floor. The lighting in the room was very dark. There was only one mirror in the entire room which was in the bathroom. A full length mirror would have been nice considering all the empty wall space in the room. The free breakfast was not good. Great location, aesthetically pleasing lobby and lovely staff.
