Pieters Huis

Found Pieters Huis on Novasol Website (Holiday cottage BLI012). Absolutely lovely the home. Jac, is great and onsite host. Very nice person. He is well known in his community. The rental is a mother in-law space and very clean and easy to use and location could not have been better. Kinroo is centrally located. Destinations seem to be 1.5 hours to 2 hours from Amsterdam, Brussels, Bruges, Cologne. Roads are easy to navigate. Cute a town and friendly locals. Stop by the local bar to enjoy beer and soccer with the locals. **Suggest 3-4 power adapters (for cell phones, hair irons ect...) for international guests** Lastly... this was not mentioned in the description... there is a wonderful historic Windmill just down the street. Fantastic view from upstairs bedroom bathroom.

A very nice holiday home, great furnishings, 2 bedrooms each with its own bathroom and a TV each. Kitchenette fully equipped including dishwasher, spacious refrigerator, small freezer, microwave. The only disadvantage is that the area is close to a main road. Good starting point for many activities such as cycling, hiking or shopping (Outlett Roermond and Maasmechelen). Very nice lounge area covered and illuminated outside I would happily book here again at any time

We stayed in this house because of work to be done in Belgium (Herbricht). What was very practical is that the house has two bedrooms with spacious beds and each with its own bathroom with toilet. A holiday with two couples is therefore very possible. A television was also present in both bedrooms and the living room. The WiFi is excellent throughout the house (free). The keys are located in a key safe next to the front door. The day before our stay we received the code by email and we could arrive as late as we wanted. The living room is spacious with two double sofas, an easy chair and a dining table with 4 chairs. The kitchen is equipped with all amenities (even a separate freezer) and plenty of crockery. A dishwasher was also not missing in this kitchen. Dishwashing cubes are provided. In general, if you still think you are missing something, ask the owners. A very friendly couple who are open to comments and ideas. We did not have breakfast so that is not included in the review, although I have no doubts about the quality of the breakfast. The house also contains a folder with useful directions such as restaurants, shops and sights. Across the street from the house is a supermarket where everything is for sale (closed on Sundays). In short, a very pleasant and recommended accommodation option with an excellent price/quality ratio. A whole house for the price you can't even get a decent hotel room for.
