Pieve di Caminino Historic Farm

I cannot recommend a better place to stay! This place was amazing, so much fun and relaxing as you could imagine. Emy was such a perfect host with all the recommendations you could hope for. I truly did not want to leave this gorgeous property. The bed is super comfortable, the rooms are amazing and intriguing, pool the perfect temperature and view absolutely stunning. I can not say enough good things. Stay here. It will be the highlight of your trip.

We arrived in this beautiful, historic estate and were absolutely wowed from the onset. From that point on, everything went from excellent to even better at each subsequent step. The owners, Emiliano and Chiara, are sheer masters at the (almost lost) art of hospitality. The apartments are clean, super cozy and simply delightful - I mean, famed world personalities have slept there! The breakfast in the morning was unbelievable given the frame provided by the beauty of the location, the nature, the wide open surroundings and marvels of Southern Tuscany countryside. Emiliano always keeps the mood on the positive tone with his signature warmth and attentions. I sincerely doubt anyone to have a dull moment in a place like that with such a great guy as a host. We truly made wonderful memories in Caminino and a day and night to remember, no question. The walks and visits that are possible around the property and nearby areas also are something truly spectacular, which we enjoyed with great gusto. The former Church! Emiliano - an architect himself - converted what was previously a church, now no more consacrated, in the most clever and interesting living room with fireplace that I have ever seen. At departure, Emiliano went above and beyond by gifting me with an impressively well written art book about the life and works of his grandfather -famed '900 painter Romualdo Locatelli - that I had shown interest in during the stay and our conversations on art. Well, let me tell you that I loved that book as much as I loved staying at the property. Extremely highly recommended!

The hotel has very interesting historical and artistic features, has a large green area with olive trees, a swimming pool and parking. The reception from the owner, Mr Emi, was fantastic. we were welcomed with great wine and coffee, and received valuable suggestions on places to visit in Tuscany.
