Pilgrims Progress by Wetherspoon

It’s a lovely hotel with spacious rooms, and the bar staff were very friendly. We stayed there on a Thursday night, and it was pleasantly quiet. The location is convenient—just a 10-minute walk from the station—so there's no need to worry about traffic. It’s definitely a great place to stay at a reasonable price. In fact, while Premier Inn was charging nearly double, this hotel offered much better quality. I would certainly choose to stay here again if I visit Bedford in the future.

Every time I come to the U.K. to visit I always come to this pub. They always have fish and chips. Now they have also added many other deals to the already amazing menu. I can always guarantee my Stella will be waiting for me and I will purchase a glass to take home. The staff is very friendly and they get it right each time.

Clean, well-presented interior — reviewers often note the pub feels spacious and well-maintained . Friendly bar staff — most guests highlight prompt service at the bar and a positive atmosphere . Great central location — very close to the train station, bus stops, and shops in Bedford town centre. Overall: ✅ Would go again!
