Pimalai Resort And Spa

Beautiful resort with amazing staff and facilities. Our villa was serviced twice a day, great buffet breakfast with a la carte options, many activities included (fitness classes, kayaking, massage classes etc.), multiple restaurants to choose from, beautiful infinity pool, free buggy service within the property - couldn’t fault anything with our stay. Great value considering the quality of the resort and service provided. Our stay also included airport transfers to / from the resort (about 1.5-2.5hrs each way). Highly recommend spending at least 4 nights here to make the most of the resort and the surrounding island(s). Everything can be requested / ordered within the Pimalai app (booking buggies, booking fitness classes, asking for extra toiletries etc.) and the staff were always responding immediately. Really hope to be able to make it back again one day.

We absolutely loved our stay at Pimalai Hotel! The resort’s serene location in the quiet south of the island, adjacent to the Mu Ko Lanta National Park, provided an ideal setting for relaxation. Our recently renovated room was elegant and comfortable, featuring a beautiful balcony with stunning sea views. The attentive and genuinely friendly staff elevated our experience. Other highlights included tennis sessions with their skilled trainer, walks through the resort's lush, beautifully maintained grounds on the way to breakfast, stand-up paddleboarding, and enjoying sunset drinks. Additionally, wonderful restaurants and massage spots can be found along the gorgeous beach, and there's a small village just a short walk or shuttle ride away, offering everything you might need. Highly recommended for couples seeking a tranquil, luxurious getaway.

It’s a beautiful location—the grounds are stunning, the room was great, and the pools have incredible views. Unfortunately there are children EVERYWHERE. Too many visiting parents are indifferent to parenting. Weirdly no shade to be found at either pool, despite both being quite large. Guests were much less kind to staff compared to other resorts (some tourists don’t understand societal rules). The staff was much less skilled with service/language compared to Layana. The food was fine and the cocktails are stuck in the early 2000s. I’d gladly stay at an adult-only resort with much less amenities.
