What a dream! This was absolutely the best place I have ever stayed in! What a lovely hotel run by lovely people. The location is ideal, so many great activities to do, the food is high quality and excellent! My friends and I loved the staff, they were super friendly and always felt welcoming. I would without a doubt recommend this place and I truly cannot wait to come back. Thank you again to all the staff!
Unique! We have travelled around the world and seen many beautiful places and hotels. Pine Cay is in our top 3 ever after a week there recently. A private island to explore, pristine, deserted white sand beaches, outstanding food and friendly service, snorkelling, bikes, kayaking and more. Just 14 very well appointed and spacious suites. If you can afford the $2,000 a night including all meals, I would totally recommend a week at Pine Cay. The island and hotel are owned by the 40 homeowners who have houses who are friendly and respectful to the hotel clients, under the watchful eye of hotel management rock star Christian Langlade and his wife (Sandy Bay, Lanesborough London and many more).
After 6 days here, here's what I can say. Pros: picturesque, photos do not do this place justice, extremely secluded, haven for those who love peace and quiet, free use of aquatic equipment, lots of nature, beaches, mangroves, lagoons. Cons: getting to/from the island, food was just OK, most guests were retired (older) couples, not as luxurious as you'd expect for what you're spending, lack of communication with guests on events and things to do. The exit off the island, we felt like we were unwanted guests being thrown out after spending $15K for 5 nights you'd expect better. Both us and another couple departing on the same boat left extremely disappointed.
