Beautiful location and facility made better by the attentive staff who provided superlative service. Shout out to Hugo, Paolo (Manager), Amanda and Tiago at the Suites and also Margarida and Joao (apologies if I misspelled any names). To make our visit even more special, champagne and cake was delivered to our suite to celebrate my son’s birthday! We would love to visit again!
The first night we had individuals next to our room that were very loud. I went down to the reception and they supported called once but dis nothing. Overall, the stay was not what i expected when we were there 20 years ago when it was Sheraton hotel. The Marriot pine cliffs i must say is attracting mass tourism and also the hotel staff are friendly but are not properly educated by the hotel management to do all the Services. When we were in the garden we had to wait 2 hours for food or when you make a reservation for the pescador 7:30 for 7 people they made it for 5 people. Also the beach is way to crowded in 3 lines and front you pay 120 euro a day. To be honest paying 10 k for a week you have high expectations and from my side they were not met.
No Luxury at all! This is the case were the brand was stolen or Marriott made a huge mistake. Im a Platinum Member of Bonvoy Marriott, so I spend more than 80 nights per year in hotels...and never saw a place like this, is not even a low cost hotel. Lets begin... no adult pool, the front desk CLOSE at 11:00 pm if you need anything, good luck... The beach lounge is 150 euros per day per person, and are not included, the free ones are not enough for the guests by farrr, a trick to pay, is a scam!!! The beds are awful, hard and sheets are cheap,the rooms are so basic that the bathroom is inside the room divided by a glass... no privacy at all, not even for the WC. The food of the hotel is mediocre at least... The smell and appearance in the lobby and hallways of the hotel is like a Hospital.. ( look the pictures) The price/Value is awful. The best you can do is look for another option and save your money and enjoy your vacation in another place.
