I have to say my stay at the Pinestone was absolutely amazing. This was my third year as a guest, and each time it feels more and more like a home away from home. It’s been such a pleasure getting to know the staff and seeing how hard they work to make sure every guest has a wonderful experience—whether it’s just for a night, a few days, or in my case, a long-term stay. A huge thank you to Denise, Kayla, Ava, Leah, Collin, Wayne, Keegan, Dylan, Lisa, Ashly, and Kathy for putting up with me for so long and always making me feel welcome. I’ll be back again soon and I’m so grateful for the amazing hospitality you’ve shown me year after year!

Very friendly staff. Great mattresses and pillows. Clean rooms. No pools. Note that it's pretty dated so manage your expectations. It looks like it was probably a really nice place back in the day. I didn't golf but it looked like it was a nice place to golf. It was well maintained. I would stay here again when we are back next summer.

Lack of follow through and care and misleading photos as it looks nothing like this - perhaps outdated. While nature in itself is picturesque, grounds not kept up. Bed and washroom looked clean and comfortable mattress, yet floor looks like it was lightly cleaned along with rest of furnishings. The fridge was MIA - told it 'must have' been removed to go to another guest, despite being assured the room had one and double checked prior to. On top of that, restaurant service was closed the entire time stating that staff did not come in and really was not made clear what happened, even perhaps post-pandemic tossed out as a possible reason. Therefore, I had no real food to eat while there. I ate perishables the first evening I arrived like cheese and crackers and had brought salad/leftovers as the restaurant closed ... not sure what time, yet maybe early? All I had left due to no fridge was dry goods (snacks) and water/drinks I brought with the remainder of the time. I was told to go to Tim Hortons.... Front desk simply said sorry about all the inconvenience. Management stated they could not reimburse and would call to confirm to the 3rd party, while I also looked into it - booked via 3rd party - which not sure if they did because the third party said no. I called back and the manager stated I could return for free. When I called to book management changed and would not honour the previous manager's decision, even though I was told directly that if there was a change in management, it would still be valid. All around a complete waste of time and money that I will never get back. 100% do not recommend as upon arrival things are not as it seems, which is in line with other posts from past to present.
