Piramida Park Hotel & Wellness

Location is great. The lake is right behind the hotel. Playgrounds, cafes, bars are nearby at the lake. Also there is a good restaurant in the hotel. Breakfast is very good. The rare case when the air conditioner in the room really works, not just as a fan. Gym and swimming pool included in price of the room. Service is good. Safe parking on the territory

Good location next to the lake. We got a big room, and the staff were nice. I'm only rating it 3* because of the creepy atmosphere. There are statues and paintings with ancient egyptian motives everywhere. I found it weird, bordering creepy. The lighting in the corridors could use an upgrade, and also the lift which caught my arm and almost chopped off my child's fingers.

All in all a very disappointing experience at this hotel. First of all - the hotel is in fact a huge pyramid, very strange architecture for the location - but that’s actually beside the point. The building is old, the windows in the rooms don’t open. The spa is basically a tiny pool and a sauna - which was not included in the price! We had to book the sauna over an hour in advance. When we arrived at the agreed time, the door of the sauna was open and the oven was still only lukewarm. Within the next hour it didn’t get hot at all. The light in the sauna was broken, so it was very dark. There are no cold showers for after the sauna. When we confronted the employee at the reception with our concern, he was very rude and didn’t care at all. The rooftop area was under construction, a fact, that was not mentioned on booking.com. The breakfast on the other hand was surprisingly good. All in all we still cannot recommend.
