Placemakr Dupont Circle

So I stayed here for a business trip. My office is in 11 DuPont Cir - so on the backside of the Placemakr. It was very convenient. The rooms were clean and comfortable. There was a full kitchen with a dishwasher and pantry. The best thing about this place was their ability to offer a fully remote check in process and instead of key cards, a PIN number that allowed you to access both the building and room. That was great. I highly recommend staying here if you need to be close to the DuPont Circle area.

My partner and I decided to take a weekend trip to Washington DC and we wanted to stay in a neighborhood that was central to all of the places that we wanted to visit. Placemakr Dupont Circle offered the perfect level of comfort and convenience that we were looking for within a price range that we could afford. The hotel is absolute gorgeous and offers a vast amount of amenities. The rooms themselves are very well taken care of and were spotless. We were surprised that they were fully stocked with everything that you need to cook a meal and had additional supplies like dishwashing soap, and laundry detergent, which came in handy during our trip. When we arrived at the hotel, we were warmly greeted by the staff, and our bags were carefully taken care of as we arrived early to the hotel. The communication between the staff and us was clear during the entirety of the trip and although we did not have daily cleanings, they were able to provide us with clean towels and other necessities when we needed them. Even the checkout process was extremely seamless, and I was able to tell that everyone working at the hotel really wanted to make the guest experience the best that I could possibly be. My partner and I would definitely come back next time we visit. Top reasons why you should stay: 1) next to the red line metro, super convenient 2) affordability 3) clean 4) great staff 5) quiet 6) walkable to the White House area + Georgetown + Logan circle

Absolutely gorgeous building (on the national register of histortic places and even served as the temporary White House in 1927). Stayed here for 3 nights for a work trip and couldn't be more pleased. Definitely going to stay here next time I'm in DC.
