The spa was also a great experience, and the easy access to and from the ski slopes made our stay even more enjoyable.

I recently stayed at the Places Hotel Valamar in Obertauern, and I have to say, it was an absolutely incredible experience. The location is fantastic—right in the heart of Obertauern, with easy access to the slopes. The food was excellent, offering a great variety of dishes that catered to every taste. One of the standout features was the facilities for teenagers. They had a blast with all the activities and spaces dedicated to them, which gave the adults a bit of time to unwind and enjoy the trip too. The rooms were warm and cozy—by far the best we’ve stayed at in any ski resort, making us feel comfortable after a long day on the slopes. However, what truly made our stay unforgettable was Nadia’s outstanding service. She was always available, no matter what time of day, to assist us with any requests, both big and small. We were a group of 11, with varying skill levels and some special requirements, and Nadia took care of everything. She helped us with bookings at top-notch restaurants on the slopes and ensured we had the best ski lessons and equipment rentals, all tailored to our needs. Her attention to detail and commitment to making our stay seamless was truly remarkable. Overall, I can’t recommend Places Hotel Valamar enough. It's a perfect spot for families, groups, and skiers of all levels. The combination of great location, excellent food, superb facilities, and exceptional service from Nadia made this one of our best ski vacations ever.

We visited the hotel for drinks, and the lounge bar was very cozy and beautifully designed. The cocktails were excellent! The highlight of our visit was the conversation with the ski mastermind, Nico. He is a very friendly and knowledgeable young gentleman, and his insights about skiing were both interesting and educational. A great experience overall
