Lovely relaxing hotel. Immaculately clean and stylish interior. Our room was spacious with a massive super-comfortable bed. Amazing shower. The plentiful buffet breakfast had subtle variations every morning. We were a little perplexed that when we arrived the hotel wasn't manned, but we soon appreciates the no-fuss ethos of the hotel. The staff running the breakfasts were very friendly and down to earth. When we asked for advice on our activity, the lady was really helpful. There wasn't anywhere open to eat out on the Monday night, everywhere was closed. But it was early April.

Placeta Vella is truly a hidden gem ! From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by its unique design and stunning decor—a perfect blend of charm, elegance, and comfort. Every corner of the hotel is beautifully designed, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The room was spotless, well-maintained, and filled with thoughtful details that made my stay extra special. The staff was beyond amazing- Laura, Ana and Faustina, always friendly and attentive, making me feel right at home. The breakfast was outstanding, with a great selection of fresh and delicious options to start the day. The service was top-notch, and the overall experience was simply unforgettable. If you're looking for the perfect place to stay, with amazing design, exceptional service, and great value for money, Placeta Vella is the place to be! I highly recommend it and can’t wait to return.

I stayed at Placeta Vella during a recent solo trip to Mallorca and had a really enjoyable and relaxing experience. The hotel is set in the peaceful village of Caimari, perfectly located between Alcudia and the Tramuntana mountains - ideal for exploring both the coast and the mountains without any rush. The building and interior are beautifully done - clean, stylish, and full of quiet charm. My room was spacious and spotless, with an excellent shower. Everything felt considered and well looked after. Breakfast was a daily highlight - fresh, healthy, and with just enough variety from one day to the next to keep it interesting. It felt unhurried, which really set the tone for the rest of the day. Parking near the church was easy, which made things even more convenient. The hospitality was thoughtful and genuine. Ana was always friendly and helpful, and when I mentioned I wasn’t sleeping well because of the pillow, she passed it on to her manager - who actually went out and bought a new one for me. That level of care really stayed with me. Placeta Vella is a quiet, well-run place that feels personal and welcoming. It was exactly what I was hoping for, and I’d be happy to return.
