Plas Nanteos Mansion

What an amazing place, amazing staff, friendly and attentive. The room was beautifully decorated with a super comfy bed and clean ensuite. Breakfast was well cooked and lovely and hot, would love to return but found out they were closing as we were leaving, such a shame for everyone.

We booked the Plas Nanteos as a group of 8, with 4 rooms. The hotel was very accommodating and the staff friendly, hardworking and helpful. Our suite was huge with an enormous bathroom. Very warm bedrooms with huge radiators which were lovely as it's quite easy for these huge buildings to feel cold. I only wish the fireplaces were lit in the reception, bar etc. to add to the cozy feel! The restaurant area was smaller and as a group of 8 we took up most of the room but the food all came out on time and the taste was good with great service. Also very helpful with any dietary requirements. We only wish the bar was better stocked with more variety as it was quite limited. Breakfast was good and served in a much larger room with a nice selection. The view outside was fantastic and such a quiet and beautiful location. The narrow road is passable for supercars with a few small speed bumps and a good carpark outside. There were certain areas of the hotel that felt like it needed a little sprucing up such as the carpet or furniture in the lounge area but this is being picky and everything was very clean and I think I think the price was fair considering.

Big manor house at end of a single track. Our room was nice but VERY hot, there was a fan in the room. My side of the bed was very comfy, sadly the Mrs side was sagging as the base needs fixing. Breakfast was very nice.
