Plas Yn Dre

We had a fantastic experience at this wonderful restaurant. The staff were absolutely amazing —so friendly and attentive, which made us feel very welcome. I ordered the Sunday roast with chicken, and it was delicious, perfectly cooked, and full of flavour. My husband had the Welsh beef burger, and he loved it just as much. To top it all off, I had the lemon posset for dessert, and it was divine—light, zesty, and the perfect finish to the meal. I highly recommend this place. It’s truly a hidden gem in Wales and definitely worth a visit!

Stopped in for lunch as we were passing through. We had the fish and chips and butter milk chicken burger. It was the best fish and chips I've had in years, absolutely fantastic. My partner had the butter milk chicken burger and also praised it as fantastic. Will be calling back whenever we're passing through. Also dog friendly and reasonably priced and was great service.

Definitely one of the better places to take the family to eat in Bala. Really attentive staff... the building extends out to the back... looks great and good decor. No reservation for dinner. We just turned up and they accommodated the family. Food was fantastic I had the Poke bowl and duck fritters that were extremely tasty. Small kids menus. Take the family here!
