Platan Udvarhaz

Very nice experience, room was beautiful, location is just wonderful, breakfast was tasty , we went for dinner to the Platan bistro and loved everything, overall-all good. Just 2 things : room was very hot and it was hard to breath , so we opened a/c in the end of October. And another thing the stairs in the lake at wellness centre are covered with ooze, so it’s really slippery, be careful

Our stay at Platán Udvarház és Platán Utca was truly memorable. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the most polite and welcoming staff we have ever encountered. The entire team went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction throughout our stay. Our room was cozy and comfortable, equipped with all the necessary amenities to make our visit enjoyable. It felt like a home away from home, providing a perfect retreat after a day of exploring. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the restaurant next door, which has been recognized by Michelin in both 2022 and 2023. The dining experience was nothing short of fabulous on all fronts—food, service, and atmosphere. Every meal was a delight, and we also enjoyed a very good breakfast there, once again accompanied by excellent service. Special mention must be made of Kristina, who was incredibly kind and helpful during our check-out process. Her extra efforts in making our trip to the train station painless were greatly appreciated, and she truly made a positive impression on our entire experience. Overall, we highly recommend Platán Udvarház és Platán Utca for anyone looking for a memorable and enjoyable stay. My only recommendation to the management is to make change check out time from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Platán Varorok Vendeghaz. We highly recommend you add this to your stay in Hungary. The staff were always smiling, friendly and happy to help with questions or requests. Our two rooms were located in the new section and were spacious, comfortable and quiet. The breakfasts were excellent, providing a large range of options in the buffet and also cooked on request. The location is ideal and we enjoyed utilising their bikes to cycle around the old lake and made the most of the wellness centre for a cool swim afterwards. We ate at the Restaurant on both evenings and it was first class !! A European highlight ! There is no better place to stay and enjoy all the wonders that Tata has to offer. Thank you. We will certainly be back!
