The personnel is really nice but totally slow and disorganised. Also, they forgot to pick us up from town at a difficult time to catch a taxi. The cabins are nice but without maintenance. Our cabin was full of mosquito and the cabin had holes all over the place. But the cabins are first row to a nice relaxing dirty beach. Also, the restaurant as little choices and awful and they are out of many of them.

ZERO STARS — THIEVES! Do NOT stay here unless you want your belongings stolen and the staff to act like it's none of their concern. I accidentally left my jacket with my AirPods in the hotel room. When I realized it, I used the tracking app and my AirPods are now showing up in a part of Labuan Bajo where I have never been. One of the staff clearly stole them. When I reported this to the hotel, they were completely dismissive. They claimed they “asked around” and no one had seen anything — not surprising, since the AirPods were stolen. They mentioned security cameras, only to later admit there are only cameras in the restaurant and reception — nowhere near the rooms. How convenient. Basically: no security, no accountability, and no real interest in helping guests. No follow-up. No compensation. No professionalism whatsoever. To top it all off, I had to switch rooms because the first one was filthy — actual animal feces in the open-air bathroom. And yet I had to wait over an hour past check-in to even get that room. This hotel is a complete disaster. Avoid at all costs — I’m filing a formal complaint and warning others to stay far away.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at Sylvia Beach Resort. The room was dirty with several broken parts, including a broken sink in the bathroom that was never fixed. The restaurant had a very limited menu and was overrun by cats jumping on the tables. When I requested a hairdryer, I had to wait three hours to receive it. Behind the rooms, there were piles of plastic waste that were burned at night, creating a terrible smell. Additionally, there was plastic littered on the beach. I strongly advise against staying here.
