I stayed here with my family. It was a great stay. It is at a prime location with The Grand Thakkar next to it. You can try their thali. The staff is polite and very welcoming. The rooms are very clean and well maintained. The food quality and taste is also top notch

Critical Review of Platinum. My experience at Platinum was utterly disappointing and frustrating, to say the least. The receptionist, Chirag, displayed an appalling lack of professionalism and customer service. Despite having booked a room in advance while traveling to Rajkot, I was shockingly denied check-in upon arrival. The excuse given was that check-in was only allowed at 12 noon, which is absurd and inconvenient for travelers who may arrive earlier. This rigid policy was communicated in a rude and dismissive manner, making the situation even more aggravating. To make matters worse, it became apparent that the staff, particularly Chirag, engage in unethical practices. I was asked to pay extra money—essentially a bribe—just to secure the room I had already booked. This kind of behavior is unacceptable and taints the entire hospitality experience. The lack of transparency and integrity in their operations is a serious red flag. The overall treatment of customers here is deplorable, with no regard for basic courtesy or fairness. I strongly advise travelers to avoid Platinum unless you want to deal with unprofessional staff, hidden charges, and a complete disregard for customer satisfaction. There are far better options out there that value their guests and operate with honesty. Save yourself the hassle and steer clear of this establishment!
