Quiet, relaxing, right on the beach. Eco hotel, which means no AC (sea breeze and showers kept us cool enough) and lights turn off at night. So bring a flashlight. Wake up to the sound of the waves and your own semi private beach to swim in unbothered. Affordable, very nice staff, comfortable rooms. Easy access to more hustle and bustle down the coast by bike or cheap cabs to down the beach or downtown. When I went cabs were cheap too.

We absolutely loved our location! Away from the hordes and in a sweet but very rustic location. No building standards. Stairs to our place were questionable. But we didn’t care! Gorgeous views and our deck was phenomenal. Room cleaning every day. Cocktails on order at the beach. Cozy spots all along the beachfront. Great pool right next to the ocean. Be aware: this is a national park. You pass inspection every time you enter. No alcohol in your trunk! Snorkel trips easy. $25 and you just hit up a guy on the beach. It’s not Hawaii snorkeling but cheap and easy! Walk down the Main Street to the ruins or the other direction to the fancy mezzanine hotel for creative and modern Thai dinner. We will be back

Avoid this property. They said they had air conditioning, but it was turned off all of the day and turned off at midnight for an hour. And again at six in the morning. During they also had power off during the one hour after midnight, so fan didn't work during those times. Such vastly intermittent service was not disclosed. I take it as a misrepresentation of their services. My guest has diabetes medicine we felt would compromised by the situation. No refrigerator... The place looked worn out and dirty. Bugs in the rooms, toilet didn't flush. I wasn't sure about the plunge pool...we spent one night. The mattress gave us back aches. So we left and booked the rest of our stay at another hotel.
