Great place to stay. The staff was amazing. Our waiter Randall was great with our food and service. Priscilla was great with our kids. They loved her and enjoyed the kids activities with her. Everybody made us feel welcome. Great place for kids. The beach is steps away and the kids pool is extremely convenient. Has a nice shade and while they play you can relax next to them and get a drink and enjoy the sun. Food was delicious. The rooms are spacious and the beds very comfortable. The beach is beautiful. They have rocks at the end of the beach where you can go and explore fish, sea stars, crabs that get trap in the water puddles. Is like going snorkeling without getting inside of the water and the kids can go on the rocks and see the animals too. I will go back in a heart beat.
This hotel is well located with direct access to a very beautiful beach. The room (we are 4, 2 adults 2 kids) was smaller than we expected, but still ok. The staff is very friendly and breakfast was good too! We didn’t eat any other meal at the hotel One down side, the play the same music all day long, that was tiring. For the rest, beautiful beach to go!
We didn’t stay overnight at Margaritaville Resort, but decided to stop in for breakfast while in Playa Flamingo. The setting is beautiful—it’s right on the beach, so the atmosphere definitely feels relaxing and resort-like. They offer two breakfast options: a typical buffet or ordering à la carte from the menu. We opted for the menu and ordered one breakfast plate and one juice. The food was okay—fresh enough but nothing that really stood out. For the portion size and quality, it wasn’t especially memorable. The bill came to about $30, which seemed high for just one plate and one drink. On top of that, there’s a mandatory 10% charge they collect, plus an “expected” tip. While I understand the beachfront location comes with higher prices, it still felt a bit steep for what we got. Overall, it’s a convenient and scenic place to have breakfast if you’re already nearby and want that resort ambiance, but for the same price (or less), you can find heartier and more flavorful breakfasts at local spots just outside the resort.
