Playa Largo Ocean Residences

We had an amazing stay at Playa Largo Resort! The property is absolutely beautiful and impeccably maintained, with lush landscaping and breathtaking views. Every meal we had on-site was fresh, flavorful, and truly delicious. It could be a bit pricy compared to equally delicious restaurants off property, but notably good. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and went out of their way to make our stay special. A special shout-out to Giuseppe and Jean, who were not only attentive but also incredibly personable behind the bar. Speaking of the pool, it was gorgeous and relaxing, and we loved the unexpected entertainment from the iguanas lounging nearby. We can’t wait to return!

I am currently staying here, it is a free for all. Kids running around crazy, someone rented a water cabana and brought a speaker and blasting it. After two days here a server finally showed to take orders on the beach side chairs. Got the order wrong.If i wasn’t staying here for free i would be angry at the room rate for the experience here. Also room was not ready upon check in, but was a small wait. This a great place for family’s wanting to vacation. Getting waterpark feel vibes rather than a resort. Awesome location though.

Unsure how to start. On the surface this is a nice looking resort. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Small beach area with easy access to the sea for swimming. Limited shade. The place had a corporate type vibe. We weren't made to feel welcome on checking in and there wasn't much information given to us as first time visitors. I kept popping back to the front desk to ask basic questions, but it started to feel awkward, as if I should already know this stuff. We had 2 rooms for 3 nights. One was not cleaned during our stay. When queried on check out they said we need to ask for this. It wasn't mentioned when checking in. But one of our rooms was cleaned without us needing to ask. All very confusing. (They did offer $50 refund on check out which was appreciated) We paid cash for all the drinks and restaurant bills, but someone had added a bar tab to our room. They did remove it in the end, but I didn't think they believed us. They also added a breakfast charge to the second room, which we paid cash for, and 3 extra days parking for a second vehicle when we only had one vehicle. We left feeling that the resort didn't live up to expectations and the prices charged didn't represent value.
