PLAZA Hotel Buchhorner Hof

Beautiful, quiet hotel in a great location by Lake Constance, just a short walk from Kornmarktplatz, the city center. Kind, attentive staff, comfortable beds, soft pillows, blackout blinds, and a fridge made the stay very pleasant. A nearby REWE (BILLA) supermarket was great for snacks. Highly recommended!

This is a more traditional hotel in Friedrichshafen which has a great location by the train station and lakefront. It's very old school which I personally like- traditional dark wood pub style for the bar area but the rooms are more modern. The breakfast room is just off the bar area and seemed to have plenty of tables. Selection was good with some hot food, cold cuts and cheeses, and yogurt and cereal. We had a twin and the room was big, lots of space and a good-sized wardrobe. The bathroom had a bath with shower head attachment. I struggled with the bath controls (absolutely could be me!) to get hot water with good pressure. The mugs in the room are really quite small but they don't offer larger ones. The room did get quite hot we found, there was AC but it could be a bit noisy for those who are sensitive. Prior to my stay, I did email with a question and they responded really quickly and sorted it for me. All the staff were professional and friendly.

Was here during Aero. Nice room and good breakfast but the guy behind the bar with glasses was unpleasent. Otherwise a great experience.
