It's ok, but for a four stars hotel it has some little details. For example: there is no tub, just a shower; the TV is a 24" flat and it is located quite far from the bed and in a bad angle. The forniture and the bed clothes are a bit old and they look cheap. All the rest is perfect and the place is always tidy and clean.
Travel agency booked rooms for us. Took ages for the elevator to come to our level. This happened every single time we had to use them. Got to the rooms. AC needed fixing. Found out that lights and AC in the rooms only work when you plug in your key card!! Lights in the halls didn't even work half of the time. Kids had to use their phone flash lights in the halls for crying out loud! The halls look very old and dusty. Had a bath and lo and behold the water remained on the floor. Eww! Also, the sink was super clogged. Went two flights up to the roof swimming pool because the elevators end just below the roof pool. The stairs to the pool could be featured in some upcoming horror movie. That's how dark it was! The pool itself was so disappointedly small, my heart just sank and I left. I was stuck there because the rooms had been paid for and there was no refund nor upgrade possible. Tbh, there was no effort to just keep the hotel clean and I will not return to this hotel let alone recommend it to anyone!
Ugh. Didn't choose this place. Had a flight canceled and the airline put all the stranded passengers there. It had a hostel feel to it. The rooms (suite) were Spartan at best. There was zero hot water to be had despite several complaints to the front desk. The hotel restaurant left much to be desired. On the first night, hungry and tired from 8 hours at the airport awaiting our fate and not being comped a meal, I got to the restaurant at 9:50 pm. They close at 10 pm. Was told they were no longer serving dine-in but that room service was available. I asked for a room service menu. That took 30 minutes. "Sandwiches only!" I ordered a sandwich and water. I was told there was water in the mini bar in my room (old dormitory cube fridge with no water in it.) Midnight came and went. No sandwich. No call. Nothing. I hit the streets for sustenance. All restaurants and street vendors close at 10 pm because, allegedly, the COVID-19 virus is extra transmissible after 10 p.m. Breakfast was no better. Breakfast ends at 10 a.m. Arrived at 9 a.m. Everything was pretty picked over and gone except the sliced breakfast hot dogs.🤮🤢 Cabbie vultures aggressively roamed the lobby. The location was nice, near Iracema Beach. I can't, in good conscience, recommend the place. My experience was far from 4-stars. It's desperately in need of a makeover and a customer service refresher course. Had Latam airlines not have selected/paid for our lodging, I would have walked out upon seeing the room/suite. That bad. In fairness, however, some of my fellow stranded flyers loved the hotel and gushed about their rooms with tubs and hot water. FWIW.
