Plaza Premium Köln

If your visiting Köln for the attractions, it is not ideal to have this hotel. While the service and rooms are superb, it's far away from the attractions, and your kind of forced to either walk a hour or find alternative methods to travel.

They put me in the wrong room - a cheaper one than I had paid for. Also, not a good hotel in general. Poor air condition that does not cool down the room making it hard to get a good night of sleep. Breakfast subpar. It seems like people who work the breakfast buffet hate their job.

Where to start? * room with high ceiling and big windows NOW: * Receptionist doesn't know how to listen. *parking, validate parking card at the reception ONLY AND EACH time to get out...check in line in the afternoon was so long...to validate a parking card. .. .good luck! *notch for shower was broken *water was on the floor after showering because the shower glass door wasn't sealed correctly. *tiny toilet area and shower *room temperature cannot modify when we needed to. The receptionist told me that how the hotel is. *no verification of room guest at breakfast...people can get a free breakfast I believe! *staff at breakfast touched everything with their SAME gloves: food, dirty glasses, cleaning tables, and set up utensiles....gloves to protect their hands and not for avoiding contamination of food...I believe!!! *sign to request to clean the room was on the door...but NO cleaning was provided. And this is a 4 star-hotel.....UNBELIEVABLE!!!
