PLAZA Premium Parkhotel Neu Ulm

Hotel is located in a very nice and quiet location, just opposite the river. They have a parking lot, but even in the case of crowdy, you can find another one just a few meters further. I really liked the location which is a few minutes by foot from the Centre. The room was quite big as for the hotel standards. The decor may be a bit old, but still okay. Breakfast was super good with a good variety of things to choose from. The restaurant has a beautiful view of the river. Stuff very nice and polite. They could improve a bit the internet. 1st day it was terrible, the other 2 was better.

Rooms were dated and need maintenance. Phone wouldn't ring and had to be replaced, and the fridge was broken and wouldn't cool. Our room did have AC (not all rooms do) but it periodically made a screeching noise. The staff were nice but I wouldn't book again

The hotel has a good location to the city center and the rooms are of good size. The interior is slightly outdated but I've been to worse places. After an initial very welcoming and good service and the reception, I found the room completely overheated. Apparently there was a problem with the heating system which could not be fixed during the weekend. Addditinally, my room did not have any system to control the heating even if it was working. When asking if a bottle of water could be provided free of charge (about 5 euro) due to the room temperatures, this request was denied... I have full understanding for technical issues and certain limitations during weekends, however I think a bare minimum compensation should be expected for a 4 star hotel.
