One of best hotels/resorts I have been to which is cost efficient compared to other top hotels/resorts. The hotel gives a feeling of culture of Kerala in the lobby. The rooms are spacious with amazing balcony. We got a room directly facing the Lake which gave us amazing view in the morning and evening. The food severed was fresh. They also provided some options beyond the menu they had. The cook was ok to adapt to changes we asked in our food. It was amazing experience both for dinner and breakfast. They had a massive swimming pool and fun activities area. Along with they had well maintained Pool table adjoining to the swimming pool. The property was massive. While this location is bit far from main Alleppey centre, but worth going there. I would any day prefer this place above House boat which will be of equal cost with hardly any amenities. The staff was amazing who always were they to guide. Overall a great experience and would surely visit this place again.
Location & ambience: very beautiful service & food- excellent- staff very passionate rooms- very old set up. overall no maintenance at all. we feel that shortage of cleanliness and maintenance from the reception itself. all show pieces with dust and spider webs. if this property is maintained well, then its a beautiful, peaceful property. hope the management would take care of this. so that lot more corporates also come & stay there.
PERMANENTLY CLOSED We booked here for 2 nights recently during December 24 from Hotels.com. We travelled with a family of elderly and teenagers from abroad. We landed and took our cab to reach this place. After being on the road for around 4 hours, we reached here and to our disappointment, the place was closed down . We were informed that the lease has expired and not reviewed. It was very frustrating as they were listing and selling rooms online on sites like Hotels.com and booking.com despite being closed down for over 4/5 months. We had to face lot of challanges to locate Nother good property in peak tourist season. DON'T BOOK IT AS ITS CLOSED AND LISTINGS ARE JUST TO Fleece YOUR MONEY
