What a lovely stay we had at Pluvio Geusthouse. The room was clean and neat when we got there. They were working on upgrading the guesthouse while we were there, and I would like to see a functional kitchen where you can have breakfast when they are done with the upgrading of the place. Otherwise I have no comments or complaints. We really enjoyed our stay and would gladly do so again.

At first glance, this looks like a nice place. We however did not have a nice experience. Doors can't close. We had to flush the toilet by picking up the cover and pulling the cistern. The people on the top storey could be so clearly heard, it sounded like they were moving furniture in our room - very loudly. The bedding was just "placed on" and not tucked in - so the "raw" matrass was clearly visible. Paint chipped off the walls. And and and. Not nice.

We paid top hotel prices for the most horrible experience. It was my birthday weekend away and I was looking forward to a relaxing weekend. We stayed in room 6. The staff had ZERO care for guests in the morning. We are woken up early am both Saturday and Sunday morning by the staff banging doors and shout talking to each other. Saturday night at 1am there was floor banging from the top floor. The place is situated on the busiest street in Parys. All you hear 24/7 are trucks, tax is and motorbikes. Maybe it's convenient if you wish to walk to everything but you will not sleep and when you do manage to sleep the staff will wake you up at 5 to 6am. There's an auction house across the street, you may be trying to relax on a Saturday morning and you'll be welcomed by extremely loud music that sounds as if the band is standing in front of your bed. The room advertised a double bed, it was two 3 quarter need pushed together. The pillows were flat like pancakes. The water pressure was non existent on the Saturday morning. It was a wonderful cold shower. The prices for this place are absurd and need to be a fraction of the place. Don't stay here, you will be sorry.
