Podere Capitignano

Podere Capitignano is a wonderful place for a relaxing and peaceful vacation. We stayed in the small apartment La Cantina and it was perfect for two people. Everything is furnished with great attention to detail and from the terrace you have a wonderful view of Tuscany. The hosts Lynn and Michael were warm and helpful and have created a wonderful place where you immediately feel at home. We would love to come back again!

We had a wonderful time here - fully recommend to anyone who wants a quiet and relaxed holiday tucked away in the Tuscan hills surrounded by nature. The host (Elizabetta) was fantastic and made us feel very welcome from the first day. The German Shepherd (Lexi) is also a great companion! The pool is in immaculate condition and it's wonderful to recline on the amazing chairs throughout the property. Rooms are basic but expected - no air conditioning so it can be quite hot in the evenings. Kitchen is a little small but no problem cooking our evening meals there. Thanks!

WARNING! We have insect bites all over our bodies from insects in the bed (not mosquito bites). Both bedrooms are affected. The landlord is completely uncooperative and indirectly accused us of attempting fraud to get a refund. The furniture in the house is very old, not well-maintained, and there is no couch or comfortable seating for 4-6 people (except at the table). The furniture on the terrace is very old and partially broken (beware of injury risks with the loungers as they are defective). The owner is also not very hospitable. We were asked to leave the pool every day at 7:30 PM as the owner and his wife use it privately at that time.
